For additional assistance or directions, please contact the Greater Johnstown/Cambria County Convention & Vistors Bureau at (800) 237-8590. The Vistors Bureau is located at 111 Market Street in Downtown Johnstown, just two blocks from the Holiday Inn.

Directions to venues from the Holiday Inn, Downtown:

Cambria County War Memorial Arena (within walking distance):
Exit the hotel on Market Street, turn right and walk to the end of the block.

Planet Ice, Richland:
Exit Holiday Inn parking lot right onto Vine Street.
Go three blocks to the end of Vine Street.
At the traffic light turn left onto Rt. 56 East – move to right lane.
About 2/10 of a mile you will enter Rt. 56 bypass.
Continue to the Ebensburg exit to Rt. 219 N, approximately 5.5 miles.
Stay in right lane and exit immediately at Galleria Drive.
At the end of the off-ramp exit right and stay in the right lane.
At the third traffic light (Sheetz store) turn left onto Oakridge Drive.
Turn right on Jari Drive – approximately 4/10 of a mile.
Planet Ice is a large building on the left – approximately 1/10 of a mile.

Blue Knob Ski Resort:
Exit Holiday Inn parking lot right onto Vine Street.
Go three blocks to the end of Vine Street.
At the traffic light turn left onto Rt. 56 E – move to right lane.
About 2/10 of a mile you will enter Rt. 56 bypass.
Continue to the Ebensburg exit to Rt. 219 N, approximately 5.5 miles.
Continue to the Portage / South Fork exit – approximately 6.1 miles.
At the end of the off-ramp turn right onto Rt. 53 N to Portage.
Continue approximately 6.3 miles to Portage.
Just past the Mobile station turn right onto Rt. 164 E.
Continue through Portage.
Just as you leave the downtown area Rt. 164 Ys to the left.
DO NOT FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR A SHORTCUT TO BLUE KNOB.
Continue approximately 7.5 miles to a sign for Blue Knob State Park – turn right.
Continue approximately 4.4 miles and bear left where road Ys –Do not go into Blue Knob State Park.
Continue approximately 1.1 miles to Blue Knob Ski Resort.

Hidden Valley Ski Resort
Exit Holiday Inn parking lot right onto Vine Street.
Go three blocks to the end of Vine Street.
At the traffic light turn left onto Rt. 56 East – move to right lane.
About 2/10 of a mile you will enter Rt. 56 bypass.
Continue to the Ebensburg exit to Rt. 219 S, approximately 5.5 miles.
Continue to SR-281 Exit – approximately 22.5 miles.
At the end of the off-ramp turn right.
Continue on SR-s81 towards Somerset – approximately 1.8 miles.
Bear LEFT (South) on SR-281 (N. Pleasant Ave.) – approximately 2/10 mile
Turn RIGHT (West) onto SR-31 – approximately 2/10 mile
Follow SR-31 to Hidden Valley Ski Area (on your left) – approximately 10.8 miles.

Directions to venues from Richland Motels:

- Follow above directions from Rt. 219 for Blue Knob Ski Resort, Hidden Valley Ski Resort, and Saint Francis Univerity.
- The Cambria County War Memorial Arena is located at 326 Napolean Avenue in Downtown Johnstown.
- To Planet Ice, exit Rt. 219 at Galleria Drive. At the end of the off-ramp exit right and stay in the right lane. At the third traffic light (Sheetz store) turn left onto Oakridge Drive. Turn right on Jari Drive – approximately 4/10 of a mile.
